10 all time hit and favorite B.Tech Books which are always make me updated during my B.Tech and my friends too. As my stream is CSE. I always fallen in love with these books. As my seniors prefer me to read these book i will also suggest to read these all time hit books.
And this are the books for CSE,IT B.Tech Student :
1. Let Us C by Yaswant kanitkar
Let Us C The Book which is loved by all not only B.Tech students even all other computer graduates,If I am right about 80% Indian programmer starts his programming lesson with this book.Let Us see is the best book to start learning programming language.
2. Data Structure By Seymour Lipschutz
This is the the second book which is loved by all computer graduates.This book is even very useful at time of campus placement. Nicely described about all searching techniques, time complexity, Linked List and Sorting algorithm.
3. Operating System by Peter B. Galvin
When ever we think about to learn about Operating System Galvin is only book comes on our mind.I will prefer this book to all my B.Tech Brothers read thoroughly this book to increase your knowledge supremacy. To make a good base on Operating System you should read this book. This book is also beneficial for Gate and Campus Interviews
4.JAVA The Complete reference by Herbert Schildt
As I am a JAVA lover. I always love to read this book thoroughly. It is the best book for all beginners to professionals. To crack OCJP and for all other Java related competition exams.There are huge number of examples to learn and practice in easy comprehensive language .
4.DBMS by Korth
Database Management System I always in confusion with this subject what to do which book should be refer to learn RDBMS. Lastly i have found this book in my college library. And i fall in love with this book .
5. Algorithm By Cormen
Don’t fear with its size go through its specified contents. I love this book for being simple and bug free algorithms, you can believe with your blind eyes too.Its a must read book for Gate.
6. Data Communication and Networking
Its an very important and interesting subject for all CSE IT and ECE students. This book is mainly for networking. Well described through well define images and easy to gasp.This book is also preferred for many competitive exams like Gate , CCNA and Campus recruitment drive.
7. UNIX Ultimate Guide by Sumitabha Das
Its an off root subject still very very important for Computer graduates who wants to get settled as an System administrator. If you are really interested to give CCNA then you should refer this book thoroughly it will help you to get good score.
8. Microprocessor and Programming
This is the only book which i find to pass my semester exam but remind that contents are only 8085 for more.I am not gonna say about this because i have done this subject by one night stand before exam .
9.Compiler design Aho Lam Sethi Ulman
I will prefer for compiler design Ulman no comparison with this book. This is like one man army. Very Very important for your semester exam and Gate. Every topics are described well there.

A real good list of books. I am ECE student and have read DS and C. I think Yashvant kanitkar is good book but ANSI C is a great book. It is easy to understand and it doesnt mess up with theory and examples. I think that will have a place in this list.

Nice list of useful books. Let Us C is one of my favorites. Yashwant Kanetkar is really a good programmer and have explained everything very deeply in that book. Teachers at our college also suggests this book to the students.
