BTS Team : Hello, Saumya How are you?

Saumya Majumder : Hello, I am fine.

BTS Team : how was your day?

Saumya Majumder : Fine, Thanks for asking.

BTS Team : So, Saumya first of all a cordial congratulations from btechShouter.com  for getting success in exl infotel campus drive.

Saumya Majumder : Thank you very much.

BTS Team : Saumya tell something about your most memorable day in your college life.

Saumya Majumder : The most memorable day in my college life is the day of EXL campusing on our college .That day was brilliantly horrible,brilliant because of the on-campus and horrible because of the tension for that campusing.

BTS Team :Yes,Saumya I can understand your moments such like pressure cooker .

Saumya Majumder : Yes, exactly like that.

BTS Team : how many rounds had you faced in your exl campus drive ?

Saumya Majumder :Well, We have to face 3 rounds in EXL Infotel campus drive ,

1st round was – offline technical

2nd round – G.D

and the final round – Technical & HR Personal interview.

BTS Team : How many question was there in Aptitude round and briefly describe aptitude pattern?

Saumya Majumder : well their aptitude pattern was little unique. There was no MCQ questions.They gave 5 questions to every stream from their core paper core paper tough mine is IT, they gave 5 questions from C to all CSE & IT students among them 2 was really easy questions and 2 was really hard.

1. 1st question was – if i=9, we have to calculate (9 x 10 x 11) without using any variable, using increment operation.

2. 2nd was a factorial program.

3. 3rd was – suppose ur cousin is studying in class 8. U hv to write a progrm for helping ur cousin in geometry , by which when he run the program, 1st a black screen will show, then a triangle, then square and then circle questions was like that

BTS Team :  Ok fine, Saumya fine can you give some idea to our readers how they prepare for their Aptitude for exl infotel ?

Saumya Majumder : Well, I will suggest them to keep the basic knowledge clear mainly in their core papers.If their basic knowledge is not clear, it will be hard to clear the EXL aptitude.

BTS Team : Saumya after the Aptitude round there was a G.D round , how was the G.D round i mean what was your G.D topic and how was G.D round experience ?

Saumya Majumder : The GD wad really hard not only the because of the topic, but also we are 14 people giving GD together in a round table.

BTS Team : yes its really tough to choose a good candidate from these mess what was your G.D topic ?

Saumya Majumder : Our Topic was – When Julius Ceasor concur Rome, his friend asked him how do you do that? Then he said 3 magical words, vedi, vini, viniath. Means, I came, I saw, I concur. Now if you have been recruited in a company as a junior engineer, and you want to be a CEO of that company, then how will you use those 3 words in your life that was our topic, and the fight was really ruff and tough.

Tough there HR gave us just 5 mins to think about the topic before starting the GD. I was sitting there for 3-4 mins and finding a chance to speak. But getting that chance was really hard from that mess of 14 people.

As I remember 18 people were selected for the next round from G.D.

BTS Team : Was there HR and Tech PI in one session or in separate session ?

Saumya Majumder : Both was in one single session.

BTS Team : Can you share some of your interview question for my readers ?

Saumya Majumder : Yes sure, 

1.He first asked me about my opinion on the whole recruitment procedure.Do I like it or not? and why?

2.Then he asked me that – we do not take any aptitude, we took directly written technical, Do you like that? Which one do you support and why?

3. Then he asked me that do I know what is VOIP ?

4. After giving the ans, he asked to tell the working of VOIP.

5. Then he asked me what is Open Souce? and why is it open source?

6. Do I like open source or not? and why?

7. Then asked me about the OSI and TCP/IP model and the layers.

8. Then he asked, do I have any brothers or sis? How many members in my home? What my parents do? If I got the job, dose my parents allow me to do the job?

That was all he asked in my interview session .

BTS Team : Yes Saumya its really nice session and good questions was there . So, Saumya have they gave your offer letter just after getting final result ?

Saumya Majumder : Well know, If you ask me personally,I will say this is the main delaying point of this company . They told us, the hard copy of the LOI(Letter Of Intent) will be reached to us by max 2 weeks from the campus date. But practically it took 1 and half month. After some day, I also become very tensed about the offer letter and stat asking and finding information regarding exl LOI. But cant even find a single thing.

Then I visited your website btechshouter.com and checked a comment where you wrote that the offer letter may take maximum of 2 months.

Saumya Majumder :

              That was the only information I has at that time. After few days, I heard that Haildia Institute got their LOI from EXL. After listening that I become little relaxed for few moments and then again start counting the time, when we get ours. Not only this, we even irritated our TPO regarding this matter for many days.

BTS Team : Yes now many of my readers got their offer letter who are from MCKV Asansol engineering college and TIG form West Bengal and from other stats. And it our proud that you have visited our site its our pleasure.

Saumya Majumder :

But after the HR of EXL choose us, he sent a soft copy in a email to our TPO that, we have selected this 5 students from your college, in their letter head.But that was a soft copy. Then after long waiting of 1.5 months only I heard that our Hard Copy of the LOI has came.And the moment was like. OMG I got the LOI at last.That was a brilliant moment 1st brilliant moment was, when I got selected and our TPO announced my name in the selected list, and I almost got fainted at that time. And the next brilliant moment was when I’m signing and taking the hard copy of my LOI.

Saumya Majumder :  Thanks a lot.

BTS Team :You are Welcome So, Saumya Some of my dear readers ask that is these Company fake/fraud ? whats your opinion on that?

Saumya Majumder : Well after completing my semester examination, I have done many research on this topic, at last find the answer. No the company is not fake. The only problem of this company is, the IT guys of this company is really slow or don’t even bother about internet marketing. I will suggest your readers go through the below link and read the whole article. I hope this will reduce their tension.

Saumya Majumder :

1st of all, EXL has recruted many students from not only west bengal, but also all over India. Exl has done their on campus on many renowned colleges, even govt. colleges like BESU, Shibpur, renowned private collges like techno india group, AOT, netaji suvash engg colg. They have done campusing in many colleges of Andhra Pradesh, Tirupati, Orisa and many other places. They even dome campussing in colleges like CET, KIIT. So, just think, if the company would be fake, is the TPOs of those renowned colleges will allow this company to do their campus?

                                Because if a fake company comes into a college, it is also a big insult of that collge, a black mark on that college brand. Do you think that this colleges will destroy their own reputation by bringing companies like EXL (if it is a fake company). Please think before you speak. 

                 The main problem of exl is they have never recruited such a mass student from on campus, and that’s why students do not familiour the name of the company. I also heard the company is a very good company specially for freshers. Those people I talked with, about exl, some of them comparing exl infotel with TCS. Think. And they live in indore.

                Another problem of this company is the IT guys of this company is really slow or do not care about internet marketing and that is the basic reason student cannot find enough information about the company in internet.
I will only say that, don’t worry, the company is a very good company, specially for freshers.

Saumya Majumder : Well as I said earlier I am really thankful to BTechShouter.com, because it is the 1st website from which I got the information that the LOI may take up to 2 months, at the time, when I was nearly became mad for the tension regarding my own hard copy of LOI.
